Job Summary

This role offers exceptional primary care within a rural/underserved track for Creighton East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Maricopa, Arizona. It provides work-life balance in a supportive Dignity Health Medical Group environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and expert care through thorough assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.
• Provide outpatient and inpatient teaching service coverage, including Family Medicine Obstetrics.
• Work flexible hours, including 4 longer days or 5 regular days, with dedicated non-clinical teaching time.
• Handle call responsibilities 1:4 by telephone, with residents being first call.
• Manage 18-24 patients per day on outpatient days, with 16 patient-facing hours, 16 precepting hours, 4 administrative hours, and 4 teaching hours per week.
• Occasionally cover inpatient duties every 4th week or less frequently, with compensation days provided.
• Enjoy great MA support and RN onsite, along with an academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix.
• Teach medical students, Physician Assistant Students, and other learners, and participate in research projects.

Requirements

• Board-eligible/Board-certified in Family Medicine.
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona.
• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited residency.
• A passion for providing clinically excellent care.
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.

Pay

$235,000 - $275,000/year*

*Salary range is subject to change based on qualifications and experience.
