Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional primary care within the Creighton East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Gilbert, Arizona.
- Provide outpatient and inpatient care, with flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular days.
- Work 1:4 call schedule (by telephone only), averaging 18-24 patients per day on outpatient days.
- Conduct 16 patient-facing hours, 16 precepting hours, 4 administrative hours, and 4 teaching hours per week.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.
- Teach medical students, Physician Assistant Students, and other learners.
- Opportunities to get involved in both sponsor and investigator-initiated research projects.
Requirements
- MD or DO Degree, BC/BE in Family Medicine.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency.
- A passion for teaching and providing clinically excellent care, prefer POCUS skills.
- Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure.
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.

$235,000 - $275,000/year
Schedule
Outpatient: Monday through Friday days, Inpatient: Tuesday through Monday days, Flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular days, Call is 1:4 or less (by telephone only)

Located southeast of Phoenix with a population of 267,918, Gilbert has a land area of 72.6 square miles and will have an anticipated population of over 300,000 by 2030. Gilbert's growing population of young families creates a great patient base for a Family Medicine residency program.

Brand new program, accredited 2022, Welcomed first class of residents June 2023 (filled all positions in the Match 2023, 2024, 2025).
Innovative new training model featuring two week mini blocks, POCUS, full spectrum family medicine and team based care.
New Women & Children’s Pavilion wing (joint venture with Phoenix Children’s Hospital) at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center coming.
Program is part of a department of academic family medicine which is highly regarded program for Scholarly Activity, Research, and Innovation featuring more to 20 peer-reviewed publications and thirty national and regional presentations by residents and faculty in the Academic Year 2025.
