Job Summary
This role offers exceptional primary care within a rural/underserved track for Creighton East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Maricopa, Arizona. It provides work-life balance in a supportive Dignity Health Medical Group environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and expert care through thorough assessments and individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.
- Outpatient + Inpatient teaching service coverage and/or Family Medicine Obstetrics.
- Flexible schedule including 4 longer days or 5 regular days, with dedicated non-clinical teaching time per ACGME requirements.
- Outpatient: 16 patient-facing hours, 16 precepting hours, 4 admin hours, 4 teaching hours per week.
- Inpatient: Every 4th week or less frequently, 1 week at a time x 7 days with compensation days provided (No outpatient duties during inpatient week or post-inpatient compensation days).
- Average 18-24 patients per day on outpatient days.
- Great MA support + RN onsite.
- Academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix—open rank based on prior experience and academic output.
- Teaching Medical students, Physician Assistant Students, and other learners.
- Opportunities to get involved in both sponsor and investigator initiated research projects.
Requirements
- Board-eligible/Board-certified in Family Medicine.
- Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona.
- MD or DO Degree.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited residency.
- A passion for providing clinically excellent care.
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.
Pay
$235,000 - $275,000/year
Schedule
Flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular days, with dedicated non-clinical teaching time per ACGME requirements.
