Job Summary

This role offers exceptional primary care within a rural/underserved track for Creighton East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Maricopa, Arizona. It provides work-life balance in a supportive Dignity Health Medical Group environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and expert care through thorough assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.
• Outpatient + Inpatient teaching service coverage and/or Family Medicine Obstetrics.
• Flexible schedule including 4 longer days or 5 regular days, with dedicated non-clinical teaching time per ACGME requirements.
• Outpatient: 16 patient-facing hours, 16 precepting hours, 4 admin hours, 4 teaching hours per week.
• Inpatient: Every 4th week or less frequently, 1 week at a time x 7 days with compensation days provided (No outpatient duties during inpatient week or post-inpatient compensation days).
• Average 18-24 patients per day on outpatient days.
• Great MA support + RN onsite.
• Academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix—open rank based on prior experience and academic output.
• Teaching Medical students, Physician Assistant Students, and other learners.
• Opportunities to get involved in both sponsor and investigator initiated research projects.

Requirements

• Board-eligible/Board-certified in Family Medicine.
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona.
• MD or DO Degree.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited residency.
• A passion for providing clinically excellent care.
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.

Pay

$235,000 - $275,000/year

Schedule

Flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular days, with dedicated non-clinical teaching time per ACGME requirements.
