Garner Family Practice is part of the UNC Physicians Network Group Practices, a for-profit subsidiary of UNC Health Care System that remains privately owned and is managed by UNC Health. - Annual physicals
- Biopsies
- Bone-density scans (DEXA)
- Children’s health
- Diabetes education
- Family medicine
- Full-service laboratory
- Illness care
- Immunizations
- IV therapy
- Laceration repair
- Management of chronic health conditions
- Mole, wart and skin lesion removal
- Onsite X-rays
- Nutrition counseling

Responsibilities
Open to new and experienced nurse practitioners. Current NC medical licensure, or the ability to obtain license.
Requirements
Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program. Licensure/Certification Requirements: Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Qualifications
Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
