About the role

The Penn State Health Family and Community Medicine Department seeks a full-time academic faculty physician to provide time-sensitive acute and chronic primary care, education, and training for residents and medical students.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, compassionate, coordinated, and high-quality patient care
• Teach and mentor family medicine residents and medical students
• Contribute to the department's research and educational initiatives
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity

Requirements

• Medical degree - M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
• Unrestricted PA medical license
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency training program
• Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine
• Experience in an academic setting preferred
