About the role
Community Concepts is seeking a Family Development Coach to provide direct customer-based support to clients in their journey to achieve their families' goals at our Lewiston Office.
Responsibilities
- Engage with families to collaboratively build partnerships to identify strengths and needs through a Whole Family Approach
- Complete comprehensive assessments with clients in order to support each individual and family unit to set and meet goals
- Advocate for families by collaborating with internal programs and external agencies to support application completion and ongoing partnerships
- Provide service similar to case management/care coordination to ensure clients receive timely and coordinated services
- Keep accurate and detailed documentation on clients, support with data collection, and data entry
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required with additional college coursework or related certification
- Associates Degree preferred
- Related experience working with the general public required
- Five years related experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to function autonomously and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and travel within the service area is required
- Pre-employment SBI, DHHS, DMV, Maine and National Sex Offender Registry, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment
Pay
Starting range: $18.23-$21.00, depending on education and experience
Schedule
40 hours, generally 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with required flexibility to accommodate the needs of clients
