About the role

The Penn State Health Family and Community Medicine Department seeks a full-time academic faculty physician to provide time-sensitive acute and chronic primary care, educate and train residents and medical students, and participate in departmental activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, compassionate, coordinated, and high-quality primary care services
  • Collaborate with residents and medical students in clinical settings
  • Participate in educational activities for residents and medical students
  • Contribute to the department's research initiatives
  • Engage in quality improvement projects

Requirements

  • Medical degree - M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Unrestricted PA medical license
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency training program
  • Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine
  • Experience in an academic setting preferred
