About the Role
Penn State Health is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible academic faculty physician for the Family and Community Medicine outpatient clinical program in Hershey, PA. This position offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care while educating and training family medicine residents and Penn State College of Medicine students within the oldest academic department of family and community medicine in the nation.
The department is committed to delivering time-sensitive acute and chronic primary care that is comprehensive, compassionate, coordinated, and high-quality in a safe, cost-effective, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinical setting.
- Educate and train family medicine residents and medical students.
- Participate in the academic mission, including teaching, research, and state-of-the-art patient care.
Requirements
- Medical degree (M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent).
- Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency training program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
- Experience in an academic setting preferred.
