Fall Internship 2026 - IT Intern (AI)
About the Role
In a fast and frequently changing retail environment, HUGO BOSS is searching for an ambitious, curious, and enthusiastic IT Intern to support our AI initiatives. As an Intern in our NCSA IT department, you will work closely with IT experts to explore and scale the use of Microsoft Copilot, agentic AI, and Generative AI across HUGO BOSS.
This internship offers hands-on experience with Copilot and modern AI tools in an enterprise environment, exposure to real IT processes and platforms at a global fashion and lifestyle company, and an opportunity to actively contribute to AI use cases.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Copilot (e.g., M365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot) within NCSA business units
- Help create and refine best practices, guidelines, and use-case playbooks for Copilot
- Assist in training sessions, demos, and documentation with respect to Copilot, Agentic & Generative AI use cases
- Contribute to proof-of-concept (PoC) projects using agentic AI to replace and/or enhance IT support knowledge search or reporting
- Support the design and testing of Generative AI scenarios to build content and documentation generation, knowledge base, Q&A, code, and script generation
- Help build and maintain prompt libraries and templates tailored to HUGO BOSS use cases
- Collaborate with IT colleagues on integrating AI tools into existing platforms and processes
- Provide first-level support to pilot users, collect structured feedback, and help consolidate user insights
- Contribute to clear, user-friendly documentation (how-to guides, FAQs, one-pagers) for AI-related topics
- Conduct structured research on new AI features, tools, and trends relevant for HUGO BOSS
- Compare solutions, summarize findings, and support recommendations for internal stakeholders
- Help ensure that all AI-related activities respect IT security, data protection, and compliance standards
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or a comparable field
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior at a local college/university pursuing a bachelor's degree
- Must be able to work on location 20-24 hours per week for the full Fall term (September 14, 2026 – December 11, 2026)
- Solid IT foundation in one or more of the following fields: operating systems, IT infrastructure/networking basics, or software development or scripting (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar)
- Curious about learning, exploring, and taking initiatives with Generative AI, AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot or M365 Copilot
- Experience with APIs, automation, or simple scripts is desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a structured way of working
- Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus

Pay
The minimum and maximum rate of pay for this position is fixed at $17.00 per hour.
