AI Development 2026 Fall Internship

About the Role

The Orthodox Union is seeking motivated fall interns to join our innovative team in 2026. This year, we are focused on leveraging the latest AI models and cutting-edge technologies to build solutions that streamline operations and drive meaningful impact. As an intern, you will collaborate with our tech team and fellow interns to design, develop, and implement AI-powered tools that serve the global Jewish community.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered applications to optimize operational workflows
• Write clean, efficient code using Node.js and Python for backend logic and AI integration
• Build dynamic, user-friendly interfaces using Vue.js
• Collaborate with team members to identify challenges and propose creative tech solutions
• Continuously learn and experiment with emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Drive to continually learn and grow
• Proficiency in Node.js, Vue.js, and Python
• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda)
• Interest in AI development and operational streamlining
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Passion for leveraging technology to support organizational goals

Schedule

• Duration: October 12, 2026 - February 5, 2027
• Minimum 25 hours/week (non-negotiable) during Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM; timing accommodations available

Remote with twice-monthly office visits required
