2026 Internship, Fall - IT
Purpose of this Internship
The IT Internship at Red Bull New York aims to provide a practical complement to a formal education in IT. The program helps interns develop specific technical skills, soft skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. It offers a taste of different career paths within IT and provides insight into how IT functions in a real-world business environment, particularly in the world of professional sports.
This is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof of credit requirement is required).
Responsibilities
- Contribute to ongoing IT projects by performing tasks assigned by project managers or team leads
- Conduct research on new technologies, vendors, or IT strategies that could benefit the organization
- Create and update documentation for IT systems, procedures, and training materials
- Participate in training sessions and workshops, and shadow experienced IT professionals to learn from their expertise
Areas of Knowledge and Expertise
- Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and networks
- Understanding how systems interconnect and operate
- Documenting solutions, writing reports, and maintaining clear documentation for technical procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues
- Ability to work well in a team, as IT projects often require collaboration with various stakeholders
- Precision and attention to detail when working with complex systems to avoid errors and identify issues
Hours
Your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs, including nights and weekends, due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry.
