Faculty – UPSC / PCS (Online Live Classes)

About the role

Eminent IAS is seeking passionate educators to teach Civil Services aspirants through interactive online live classes. Ideal candidates have experience in teaching UPSC General Studies and/or State PCS subjects, excellent teaching abilities, and a strong command over the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality online live classes through Zoom or other digital platforms.
• Teach UPSC General Studies and/or State PCS subjects.
• Explain concepts in a simple, structured, and exam-oriented manner.
• Conduct revision classes before examinations.
• Prepare yearly, monthly, and weekly teaching plans.
• Design lecture schedules and learning outcomes.
• Ensure syllabus completion within timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive class notes.
• Develop PPTs and teaching presentations.
• Create handouts and supplementary study material.
• Prepare current affairs compilations.
• Design topic-wise MCQs and practice questions.
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions.
• Guide students on preparation strategy.
• Mentor students for answer writing.
• Provide academic support outside regular lectures whenever required.
• Prepare test papers.
• Evaluate answer sheets.
• Provide detailed feedback.
• Suggest personalized improvement plans.
• Track student progress across tests.
• Participate in webinars, workshops, orientation sessions, and seminars.
• Conduct strategy sessions for UPSC and State PCS aspirants.
• Contribute to curriculum improvement and academic innovation.
• Record educational videos.
• Create YouTube lectures and short educational content.
• Support institutional branding through quality academic content.
• Coordinate with the academic and content teams.
• Assist in curriculum development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching quality.

Requirements

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Strong command over one or more UPSC General Studies subjects.
• Excellent conceptual clarity and teaching ability.
• Good understanding of the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
• Familiarity with at least one State PCS examination: BPSC, UPPSC, MPPSC.
• Preference given to candidates who have qualified UPSC Prelims, appeared in UPSC Mains, qualified any stage of State PCS examinations, possess strong public speaking skills, have content creation experience, have answer-writing mentorship experience, have worked with reputed UPSC coaching institutes or EdTech platforms, and have a visible academic or educational presence on social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates from IITs, AIIMS, BHU, JNU, Delhi University, Top NITs, Top 100 Engineering Colleges, and other reputed institutions preferred.
• Experience in online teaching.
• Experience in offline classroom teaching.
• UPSC/PCS faculty experience.
• Experience in answer-writing guidance.
• Experience in current affairs teaching.
• Experience with reputed coaching institutes.
• Experience with leading EdTech organizations.
• Experience creating academic content, notes, MCQs, and test series.
• Candidates from Mukherjee Nagar, Old Rajinder Nagar, or leading national coaching brands preferred.
• Highly motivated fresh graduates, researchers, postgraduates, and serious UPSC/PCS aspirants with exceptional teaching and communication skills encouraged to apply.

• CTC: ₹2.4 LPA + Performance-Based Variable.

• Compensation up to ₹15 LPA (Fixed + Variable) after successful completion of FDP based on teaching performance, student feedback, subject expertise, communication skills, academic contribution, leadership potential, and organizational requirements.
