About the role
The candidate will provide neurorehabilitation and electrodiagnostic services for patients within the UPMC Rehabilitation Network in the outpatient and inpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in neurorehabilitation and electrodiagnostic services
- Teach and mentor students and residents
- Contribute to research and scholarly activities
- Lead and participate in administrative tasks within the department
Requirements
- Board certified/eligible in PM&R
- Strong organizational, communication, teaching, and leadership skills
- Experience in electrodiagnostic techniques and neuromuscular ultrasound evaluation
- Fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine is desirable but not required
- Membership in the AANEM with board certification by the ABEM is strongly encouraged
- Leadership opportunities within the electrodiagnostic laboratory are available
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience for Associate Professor level
- Minimum 10 years of experience for Full Professor level
- Evidence of scholarly productivity including teaching, academic service, publications, and successful funding acquisition
