About the role
Seeking a board-certified Neuropathologist to provide expert autopsy and surgical neuropathology services in a leading academic medical center.
Responsibilities
- Performing autopsies and surgical pathology related to neurodegenerative diseases and brain disorders.
- Collaborating with research teams in neurodegenerative and dementia-related studies.
- Managing over 1,000 biopsy specimens and 100 brain autopsy cases annually.
- Contributing to clinical excellence and advancing patient care through diagnostic expertise.
Requirements
- Board certification in pathology with subspecialty training or interest in Neuropathology.
- Experience or interest in dementia and neurodegenerative disorders.
- Strong diagnostic skills in autopsy and surgical neuropathology.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage in research activities.
