About the role

We are seeking a board-certified Neuropathologist to provide expert autopsy and surgical neuropathology services in a leading academic medical center. The position is based in a vibrant city known for its cultural scene, outdoor activities, and high quality of life, with no state income tax.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with research teams on neurodegenerative diseases
• Handling over 1,000 biopsy specimens and 100 brain autopsies annually
• Contributing to patient care and research efforts

Requirements

• Subspecialty fellowship training in Neuropathology or strong experience in surgical pathology with a focus on neuropathology, particularly dementia and neurodegenerative disorders
• Track record in neuropathology or a keen interest in the field, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, academic setting
