About the role

We are seeking a board-certified Neuropathologist to provide expert autopsy and surgical neuropathology services in a leading academic medical center.

Responsibilities

• Performing autopsies and surgical pathology in neuropathology, with a focus on neurodegenerative disorders.
• Collaborating with research teams on neurodegenerative disease studies.
• Handling a high volume of cases, including over 1,000 biopsy specimens and 100 brain autopsies annually.
• Contributing to patient care and advancing clinical research in neurology and neuropathology.

Qualifications and Skills

• Board certification in neuropathology or related expertise.
• Subspecialty fellowship training preferred; candidates with general surgical pathology and neuropathology experience are also considered.
• Interest or experience in dementia and neurodegenerative disorders.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills.
