About the role
The candidate will provide neurorehabilitation services for patients with neurorehabilitation needs within the UPMC Rehabilitation Network in the outpatient and inpatient setting and provide consultative services in our Brain Injury Medicine Consult program.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients with neurorehabilitation needs
- Contribute to teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in research activities
- Engage in administrative leadership within the department
Requirements
- Board certified/eligible in PM&R
- Strong organizational, communication, teaching, and leadership skills
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience for Associate Professor level
- Minimum of 10 years of experience for Full Professor level
- Evidence of scholarly productivity in research, teaching, and/or administrative leadership and service
Skills
- Excellent clinical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Ability to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
