About the role

The Department of Neurology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Senior Clinical Faculty Member for its world-renowned Sleep-Wake Disorders Center. This position is based at the Moses division of Montefiore Medical Center, offering convenient access for patients from various regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and research services in sleep medicine
• Develop and lead research programs funded by NIH, foundations, or industry
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pulmonologists and pediatricians
• Diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of sleep disorders
• Participate in educational activities and mentorship programs

Requirements

• Board-Certified in Sleep Medicine
• At least 5 years of full-time clinical and research sleep medicine practice
• Extensive publication record in sleep medicine

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Medicine or equivalent
• Experience in academic settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Skills

• Excellent diagnostic and therapeutic skills in sleep medicine
• Ability to conduct independent research
• Effective team player with excellent organizational skills
