Facility Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Day Shifts

About the role

The Facility Registered Nurse (RN) is a key member of the care team at a Pediatric Day Health Center, providing high-quality nursing care in a family-focused pediatric environment. This full-time position involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing services, supervising LPNs and staff, and collaborating with families to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document children's status through ongoing assessment.
• Prioritize patient care, ensure safe, high-quality nursing delivery, implement physician’s orders, and communicate changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Support and mentor staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN License
• Current CPR certification (certification can be obtained during orientation)

Skills

Strong assessment, communication, and collaborative skills are essential.

Pay

Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies may offer additional compensation.
