Facility Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Day Shifts

About the role

The Facility Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality pediatric care at a dedicated day health center located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This full-time role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services, supervising LPNs and staff, and collaborating with families to ensure optimal outcomes. The Facility Registered Nurse contributes to a vibrant pediatric center where children with medical needs receive skilled nursing, therapies, and education in a playful, supportive setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document children's health through ongoing assessment.
• Prioritize care needs and deliver safe, quality nursing services.
• Implement physician’s orders and communicate changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided.
• Support and mentor LPNs and staff, fostering teamwork.
• Partner with families and the care team to promote positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN License (required).
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR Certification (can be obtained during orientation).
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies is a plus, with additional compensation possible.
