About the role

This role is integral to JLL’s journey toward building a world-class maintenance organization. As a Facility Maintenance Planner, you will provide a more efficient means of managing facilities maintenance and associated labor, freeing hours for additional business priorities. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance activities within our CMMS, serving as the hub for optimizing our maintenance programs. Working closely with technicians and management, you will ensure our asset management and maintenance operations are executed seamlessly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance work orders for your assigned team, using the CMMS to optimize the workload against labor availability.
  • Maintain the integrity of our asset database by tracking all asset information and documentation across Facilities Management and Project Development Services.
  • Serve as the main liaison between facility technicians, management, and third-party service partners regarding work execution, scheduling changes, and manpower status.
  • Continuously improve the work planning process by collecting data, reviewing metrics, and embracing innovative ways of working to optimize maintenance programs.
  • Provide weekly reports to facility managers, identifying risks and gaps in the maintenance schedule and providing clear resolution plans.
  • Ensure all CMMS standards and specifications are met, documenting any database changes and developing standard operating procedures for CMMS operations.
  • Arrange for all special tools and equipment needed for jobs and facilitate any special work authorizations or permits as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facility maintenance operations, including direct experience with work planning and scheduling.
  • Experience using CMMS systems to manage work for both internal teams and third-party service providers.
  • Extensive building systems knowledge, preferably across multiple disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering management or a related field; extensive work history may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Facility-related experience, preferably in a large-scale retail setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Experience with the Corrigo CMMS system.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
