UTAH STATE RETIREMENT
- Benefit eligible employees are automatically members of the Utah Retirement Systems (URS).
- The District contributes into the URS plan on your behalf each month.
- After the URS vesting period of four years, you will have either the Hybrid option, which is a combination of a pension with a 401k plan, or the 401k option if you choose.
- You can also choose to enhance your retirement with URS by contributing additional money from your paychecks into a 401k, 457, Traditional IRA, or Roth IRA.
