About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional or registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Ensure care aligns with organizational standards and values
- Provide direct patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Maintain professional accountability
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current Missouri LPN license, meeting state licensing requirements
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in acute care, with at least 6 months recent experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- LPN-IV certification or completion within 3 months if applicable
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements required for patient care
