Each and every role throughout our organization makes a difference in our ability to change the world for the better. The Facility Designer is responsible for developing a major portion of our project deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Facility programming, report writing, site master planning
  • Developing specifications and construction documents
  • Selection, coordination and layout of various aspects of design (vehicle maintenance equipment, site flow, etc.)
  • Creating / using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to complete different levels of documents
  • Submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review
  • Conduct construction field observations
  • Other design / engineering tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial design or related field
  • Command of Revit and AutoCAD, and knowledge of SketchUp
  • Command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
  • Working knowledge of LOD 300 requirements

Preferred

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively interact with and present to clients
  • Ability to hand draw conceptual site and building plans
  • Exceptional level of accuracy and detail
  • Local candidates preferred

Pay

Columbus: $55,930 - $91,885 (depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location)
