Facility Attendant Lead - Siegel Soccer
About the role
This position is considered a Safety-Sensitive position. Applicants who pass the interview process will be subject to drug and alcohol testing.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with others in spoken and written English to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the business.
- Greet customers/users as they enter the park or facility and assist them with their needs.
- Provide accurate information regarding activities and department information.
- Oversee and monitor the assigned facility to ensure a positive experience.
- Observe and enforce the rules and regulations of their assigned area for the safety and welfare of the staff and participants.
- Listen and respond to participant complaints.
- Oversee facility maintenance and cleanliness. Keeps the assigned area clean, neat, and orderly.
- Performs general repair and maintenance on the facility or coordinates with contractors.
- Operates a computer with facility management software; processes daily admission, balances cash drawer; prepares bank deposits, collects funds, issues receipts, and records transactions.
- Receives and records reservations; maintains and monitors schedules and calendars.
- Maintains accurate records as assigned, which may include inventory, registrations, incident reports, and similar.
- Opens and closes the facility as needed; ensures that the building is secure and that all participants have left before closing the facility.
- Manages staff; provides guidance and instruction.
- Able to work a flexible schedule with some weekend, evening, and holiday work required.
- Performs other work as assigned.
Additional Duties
Assigned areas will include specific training and expectations within the scope of the job description. Examples include Facility Attendant Lead-Youth Basketball, Facility Attendant Lead-Concessionaire, Facility Attendant Lead-Sports*Com Gym.
Physical Demands
Performs light work that involves walking or standing most of the time and exerting up to 20 pounds (50 pounds for the Airport department) of force regularly and occasionally.
Qualifications
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Three (3) months experience as a facility attendant, customer service representative, or closely related experience is required.
Special Certifications and Licenses
Must possess current (not expired) CPR/AED certifications or the ability to acquire same within three (3) months from the date of hire.
