Facility Attendant, Sports Core

About the role

The Facility Attendant is responsible for ensuring all facilities and equipment are properly used, cleanliness standards are maintained, and assisting staff and guests by being a positive point of contact within the venue.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and clean facility via frequent checks of locker rooms, restrooms, public areas, workout spaces, outdoor areas, etc.
• Fold and restock linen as needed and spot clean areas as required.
• Answer questions, give tours, and serve as a friendly, hospitable facility host.
• Ensure members and guests follow posted rules and general conduct guidelines, including knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (e.g., accident response, age restrictions, complaint handling).
• Assist other staff members with special events or additional duties as requested.
• Monitor tennis court usage in accordance with front desk reservations.
• Check pool chemicals as scheduled and assist in the maintenance of pools, saunas, and whirlpools.
• Return facility equipment to proper storage, reset for future use, and sanitize as needed.
• Assist with laundry, boat rentals, ball machine rentals, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the role.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Physical requirements include: sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, repetitive motion, reaching, working both indoors and outdoors, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Schedule

Part-time position with shifts varying between 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM, including weekdays and weekends.

Pay

Hourly range: $11.30 – $16.90. The specific rate may be influenced by factors such as education and work location.
