Facilities Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and customer focused Facilities Team Leader to join our team at Jubilee Park Campus. Main duties include organizing and supervising the Building Attendant and Cleaning Teams, inspecting building infrastructure, reporting maintenance issues, setting up meeting rooms, locking and unlocking designated areas, dealing with visitor inquiries, maintaining cleaning standards, and supervising the cleaning team.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise the Building Attendant and Cleaning Teams
• Inspect the infrastructure of the buildings
• Report maintenance issues
• Set up meeting rooms ensuring adequate supplies of consumables are available
• Lock and unlock designated areas of the buildings
• Issue and receive keys from staff and contractors
• Ensure relevant policies and procedures are adhered to
• Be the first point of contact for visitors
• Deal with large numbers of enquiries face to face, by phone and by email
• Maintain cleaning standards within the area
• Induct, train, and supervise the cleaning team
• Carry out appraisal conversations as required

Requirements

Experience of working in a similar customer facing environment, relevant cleaning experience, experience of supervising staff, and basic maintenance experience and knowledge of fire and security alarm systems are required.

Pay

£26,908 to £28,890 per annum pro rata depending on skills and experience.

Schedule

36.25 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged with occasional weekends working between 1.45 - 10.00pm. This is a permanent, full-time post with additional 15% payment for weekend hours.
