Facilities Technician / Maintenance - Full Time - Eventide Lincoln

Essential Functions

• Provides daily routine maintenance such as; furniture moving, minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, and furniture repairs.
• Installs and repairs floor tile, coverings, base boards, ceiling tile, drywall and PVC wall coverings.
• Installs, repairs and maintains facility equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
• Performs preventative maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Removes snow from walks, driveways and parking areas using snow removal equipment.
• Performs painting duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Performs lawn care and landscaping as needed.
• Affords assistance with transportation services as needed.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in two out of six of the following strongly preferred: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, floor repair, furniture repairs, heating/air conditioning repair. Plumbing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job while utilizing standard and specialized equipment.
• Vision within normal limits (with or without correction).
• Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 75 - pounds, demonstrating strength and agility at Eventide’s discretion.

Age Requirement

At least age 18.

Credentials

• Valid Nebraska Driver’s license (unless otherwise allowed by law) and a good driving record required.

Pay and Benefits
