Facilities Maintenance Technician - Full Time

Position Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and operation of all Cataldo facilities. Performs general maintenance, repair of building mechanical systems and equipment. Projects may range from general repairs to supporting larger projects like renovations or site changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine basic maintenance across multiple disciplines: janitorial, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
• General grounds maintenance, seasonal planning, and snow removal
• Cover regular facility inspections and address issues proactively
• Ensure compliance with safety and accessibility regulations (OSHA, ADA, etc.)
• Work closely with Operations and Leadership on facility improvements, and/or relocations
• Respond to urgent facility-related issues as needed
• Manage facility-related inventory and equipment storage
• Participate in emergency preparedness and safety planning
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times
• Maintain a reliable attendance record
• Complete other duties as requested and assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Applicable UDS drug screening
• Satisfactory background check and MA CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information), verification required annually
• Verification of an acceptable motor vehicle driving record, verification required annually
• Physical Demands & Work Conditions: This job involves regular physical activity, including walking, bending, ladder use, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor environments and may include exposure to weather. On-call availability for facility emergencies, including some evenings and weekends on a rotating basis, is required.
