Facilities Operations Maintenance Tech III
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment, including but not limited to: HVAC/Refrigeration, Electrical, Plumbing, and Preventative Maintenance (PM).
- Respond promptly to work orders and emergency calls to troubleshoot and repair immediate operational and safety issues.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal codes, regulations (e.g., OSHA), and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Execute general carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and other miscellaneous repairs as needed to maintain the appearance and structure of the facility.
- Assist with managing the inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring critical items are readily available.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field, demonstrating proficiency across multiple disciplines (Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration).
- Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls.
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification is a significant asset.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, repair, and safety procedures (up to 480V systems preferred).
- Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems, including pipefitting and drain cleaning.
- Solid understanding of reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions and environments.
