Facilities Manager

This job involves

This position directly supports the Assistant General Manager and General Manager with comprehensive facility responsibilities, focusing on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and effective vendor management. You'll play a key role in budget management, maintenance coordination, and ensuring seamless facility operations while maintaining high standards of customer service across client locations. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Aid with budgetary requests, analysis, reporting, and supporting facility-specific cost savings targets
• Receive and dispatch work requests to technical staff, vendors, and service providers
• Resolve building service issues including janitorial, parking, vending, elevators and conference rooms
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities while overseeing delivery of repair services
• Interface with property occupants and provide support for guests, visitors, and employees
• Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on operating budgets for each property
• Source local services and goods through third-party suppliers, including contract writing and vendor setup
• Manage existing contracts and coordinate with vendors on performance criteria and reviews
• Collaborate with sourcing teams on national and regional supplier opportunities

Requirements

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in facilities management or property management2+ years of facilities or property management experience in corporate environment, third party service provider, or as a consultantProven record of client service with ability to establish credibility with clients, facilities teams, vendors, and contractorsExcellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and management skillsComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)

Preferred

Preferred: Knowledge of commercial real estate, building operations and systems, accounting, project management, and vendor managementExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
