About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and without interruption. This position supports a high-performing production environment and offers opportunities for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively maintain equipment and facilities to prevent production impact.
  • Schedule, update, and perform preventative maintenance on multiple production tools.
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment as issues arise.
  • Coordinate outside contractors for maintenance and repair work.
  • Obtain and maintain required certifications, including Forklift and DOT licenses.
  • Manage and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Perform basic root-cause analysis and recommend improvements.
  • Support engineering staff with design reviews and capital project implementation.
  • Coach technicians on safe work practices, maintenance procedures, and compliance.
  • Identify and recommend projects that reduce cost, improve efficiency, or enhance safety.
  • Work occasional off-shift hours for critical equipment issues.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work (high and low voltage).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with root-cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with component setup and configuration.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on safety, process improvement, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Pay

The salary range for this position is $66,500 - $83,100. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
