About the role
The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and without interruption. This position supports a high-performing production environment and offers opportunities for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Proactively maintain equipment and facilities to prevent production impact.
- Schedule, update, and perform preventative maintenance on multiple production tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment as issues arise.
- Coordinate outside contractors for maintenance and repair work.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications, including Forklift and DOT licenses.
- Manage and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Perform basic root-cause analysis and recommend improvements.
- Support engineering staff with design reviews and capital project implementation.
- Coach technicians on safe work practices, maintenance procedures, and compliance.
- Identify and recommend projects that reduce cost, improve efficiency, or enhance safety.
- Work occasional off-shift hours for critical equipment issues.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work (high and low voltage).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with root-cause analysis.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with component setup and configuration.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on safety, process improvement, and teamwork.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $66,500 - $83,100. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
