Facilities Maintenance Manager

MV Transportation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance and repair of assigned buildings and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Distribute daily work assignments.
• Motivate and encourage productivity within the department.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date records of all repairs.
• Create, process, monitor, and close all daily work orders.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic technical and repair knowledge of maintenance processes, including safety guidelines, inspection, and repair of mechanical, electrical/electronic, HVAC, structural, and building/grounds components.
• Operational knowledge of mandated safety principles (personal protective equipment, chemical hazards, lockout/tagout, shop safety, and cleanliness).
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and familiarity with vehicle maintenance information systems and work order processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic part and component replacement processes.
• Ability to carry out assignments promptly and timely.
• Obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License in good standing with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

Starting salary range: $85,000 – $93,600 per year.
