Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate engineering work performed by internal teams and external contractors
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Support execution of engineering and design activities aligned with team objectives
- Maintain clear and timely communication across cross-functional teams
- Act as Area Engineer for a designated plant area
- Collaborate with Facilities Engineers, Site Contacts, and Lead Engineers to support operations
- Conduct monthly Facilities surveillance based on KPIs
- Provide operational support for changes, repairs, and modifications involving plant equipment, including:
- Piping systems
- Static equipment
- Rotating equipment
- Tanks and related systems
- Provide engineering support during plant shutdowns and turnarounds
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field), or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of engineering design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria
- Experience with industrial equipment (pressure systems, piping, rotating equipment, etc.)
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English (written and verbal), especially for technical and business communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial, oil & gas, or energy environments
- Previous involvement in shutdowns or turnaround projects
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
