About the role
The Facilities Development Project Manager is responsible for overseeing renovation and new-build capital improvement projects at Yancey Bros. Co., supporting the company's growth in Georgia and other strategic locations.
Responsibilities
- Work with and support the Facilities Director to deliver high-quality facilities projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects meet deadlines and standards.
- Create and maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Manage the Master Project Development Matrix for Real Estate Committee meetings.
- Review and approve contractual agreements, change orders, and other project-related documents.
- Support value engineering processes and provide timely responses to project team members.
- Secure permits from authorities having jurisdiction and attend OAC meetings.
- Review monthly pay applications and project draws for processing and payment.
- Execute project closeout duties, including generating and compiling punch lists, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and training materials.
- Ensure certificates of substantial and final completion are issued by the architect.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
- Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Management degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of proven success in design/engineering/construction project management.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, service-oriented mindset, and ability to engage with internal and external project teams.
- Success-oriented, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics related to project work.
- Valid Class C Georgia driver’s license.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools relevant to the position.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions
- Frequent lifting/carrying/lowering of items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent pushing/pulling, reaching, bending/twisting, walking, standing, and repetitive hand/wrist movements.
- Occasional crouching/stooping/squatting, kneeling, climbing/stepping, and working in extreme weather conditions.
- Exposure to loud noises, vibrations, strong odors, moving mechanical parts, and electrical hazards.
