Our Waterloo, IL location is seeking a heavy-hitting F&I Manager who takes pride in driving massive PVR & PPR while maintaining the highest levels of integrity. While your primary focus will be mastering the "box" and maximizing finance profitability, we are looking for a versatile leader. You aren't just a "finance person"—you are a key player in the management team with the ability to step out and assist on the sales desk when needed. The Mission: Lead, Close, and Protect As our F&I Manager, you are the final checkpoint for every deal. Your role is centered on financial excellence with a collaborative management edge.

Responsibilities

• Execute a professional menu-selling process to maximize PVR and maintain high penetration rates for VSCs, GAP, and ancillary products.
• Build and leverage aggressive relationships with local and national lenders to secure the best rates and fast approvals for all credit tiers.
• Act as a strategic partner to the sales floor—desking deals, structuring financing options, and performing professional trade-in appraisals to ensure we own our inventory correctly.
• Ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with all state and federal regulations; your deal jackets must be "bulletproof."
• Take personal ownership of Contracts-In-Transit to ensure the dealership’s cash flow remains optimal.
• Provide "turns" and coaching to the sales team to improve deal structure and handoff quality.

Requirements

• Proven F&I Success: At least 2+ years of experience as a high-performing Automotive F&I Manager.
• The "Desk" Skillset: Proficiency in desking deals and appraising vehicles; you understand the math of the deal from both sides of the glass.
• Analytical Mindset: Expert knowledge of DMS systems, menu software, and appraisal tools.
• Integrity: A commitment to transparency and the "Sunset Ford" way of doing business.
