Reports to: F&B Beverage Supervisor
About the Role
Provide beverage service to guests while maintaining the standards of Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino by delivering outstanding guest service and displaying a fun, friendly attitude at all times.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal, and other laws, gaming regulations, and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of guest service by listening and responding to guest and team member concerns.
- Build and maintain friendly, effective working relationships across all departments.
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere through smiling, friendly greetings, eye contact, and kind departure statements.
- Provide superior cocktail service in designated areas, including complimentary and alcoholic refreshments.
- Practice responsible alcohol service, recognize potential alcohol-related concerns, and maintain Safe Server certification.
- Assist with supplying and cleaning all complimentary beverage stations on the floor.
- Handle cash transactions and reconcile bank balances.
- Alert management immediately of any issues or problems.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as cash registers, juice guns, soda guns, ice machines, coffee machines, and alcoholic frozen drink machines.
- Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and EGET skills.
- Manage and secure confidential information.
- Attend and complete all required training as assigned.
- Monitor compliance with Anti-Money Laundering policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of experience as a food and beverage or cocktail server (preferred).
- Experience with tray service (preferred).
- Experience in the sale and knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Must obtain and maintain current TABC certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish or other language skills a plus.
Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American candidates receive preference.

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, and bend for extended periods.
- Must concentrate for prolonged periods and possess close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Must communicate effectively in person or via telecommunications equipment.
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate equipment such as keyboards, touchscreens, and calculators.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment
- Casino floor and office setting with varying noise levels.
- Frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment with public interaction.
- Temperature-controlled environment; may be exposed to high noise levels.
- Extended hours, irregular shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
- May be exposed to risks when resolving issues with difficult guests or staff.
- Exposure to various lighting conditions, including artificial, flashing, strobe, and colored lights.
- Travel may be required to perform essential functions.
Conditions of Employment
- Must obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including a successful background check.
- Must provide authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
- Must comply with KLEC handbook, internal policies, and gaming regulations.
- Must participate in the tip reporting program.
