About the role

• Virtually connect with externs nationwide, building a supportive network for structured encouragement and collaboration to enhance clinical skills and insights into office operations.
• Participate in monthly manufacturer-led workshops or meet one-on-one with trainers for individualized learning.
• Utilize top-of-the-line hearing technology from leading manufacturers to tailor solutions for patients, including computer-based audiometers, real ear verification, and test box measures.
• Join a community-driven organization dedicated to giving back through volunteer initiatives and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Learn and ask questions to your preceptor.
• Handle appointment documentation.
• Assist with lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments.
• Order and service hearing aids.
• Take earmold impressions.
• Conduct follow-up calls with patients.
• Participate in clinic and company meetings.
• Perform any task beneficial to your clinic.

Requirements

• Must actively be in an AuD program.
