Extended School Program Coordinator

About the role

The Extended School Program Coordinator position at Fountain Valley Elementary School District is responsible for overseeing and managing various educational programs designed to support students' learning needs outside of regular school hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage extended school programs including after-school tutoring, enrichment activities, and special education services.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and academic performance through targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community partners to enhance educational opportunities for students.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding educational programs and services.
• Prepare and maintain records of program activities and outcomes for reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Job related experience is required.
• Education and Experience: Option 1 - Bachelors degree in job related area plus two years supervisory experience
  Option 2 - Associates degree in job related area plus three years supervisory experience
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Copies of transcripts and First Aid/CPR certificates must be attached to your application.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $4,918 - $5,981 per month, with step 3 as the maximum.
