Express Service Writer

Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally in the express service lane
- Write and manage repair orders for routine maintenance services
- Communicate recommended maintenance and vehicle needs clearly to customers
- Maintain strong service lane flow and minimize customer wait times
- Cook with technicians and parts department to ensure efficient repairs
- Provide accurate estimates and explain maintenance recommendations
- Monitor vehicle status updates and proactively communicate with customers
- Promote dealership maintenance programs, tire promotions, and specials
- Aid with appointment scheduling and follow-up communication when needed
- Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) performance standards
Requirements
- Previous automotive service advisor or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Basic automotive maintenance knowledge recommended (training available)
- Reynolds & Reynolds software experience preferred
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Full-time position working four weekdays and Saturday’s from 7:45AM-5:15PM
- One weekday off (Tuesday’s/Flexible) and Sunday’s off
