Express Service Writer

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally in the express service lane
• Write and manage repair orders for routine maintenance services
• Communicate recommended maintenance and vehicle needs clearly to customers
• Maintain strong service lane flow and minimize customer wait times
• Cook with technicians and parts department to ensure efficient repairs
• Provide accurate estimates and explain maintenance recommendations
• Monitor vehicle status updates and proactively communicate with customers
• Promote dealership maintenance programs, tire promotions, and specials
• Aid with appointment scheduling and follow-up communication when needed
• Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) performance standards

Requirements

• Previous automotive service advisor or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Basic automotive maintenance knowledge recommended (training available)
• Reynolds & Reynolds software experience preferred
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and professional appearance

Qualifications

• Full-time position working four weekdays and Saturday’s from 7:45AM-5:15PM
• One weekday off (Tuesday’s/Flexible) and Sunday’s off
