Summary

The Expo Executive Producer is a senior production leadership role responsible for defining, integrating, and executing the full expo experience within large, complex event programs. This role owns the strategic direction and operational delivery of the expo environment, ensuring that exhibitor experience, production, operations, client objectives, and cross-functional execution are aligned into one cohesive, high-impact model. This position is distinct from roles centered primarily on vendor management or supplier coordination. The Expo Executive Producer must bring hands-on experience leading production inside enterprise-scale or matrixed organizations, with the ability to drive alignment across internal teams, business units, external partners, and client stakeholders while maintaining executive-level accountability for the overall expo outcome. This position will support our Growth team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations: Philadelphia, PA Fort Wayne, IN Las Vegas, NV Royal Oak, MI Grand Prairie, TX

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution of the expo hall experience across large-scale programs
  • Translate client business objectives into a cohesive exhibitor and attendee experience, integrating the needs of both the client, sponsors and other critical stakeholders
  • Serve as the central integration point aligning all cross-functional and partner teams—Production, Creative, Technical, Exhibitor Services, and Operations—to deliver a cohesive, enterprise-level solution
  • Establish and drive KPIs related to exhibitor satisfaction, operational performance, financial performance and service delivery
  • Lead complex, multi-workstream production environments across expo operations, content, and logistics
  • Oversee the full event lifecycle from concept through execution and post-event reconciliation
  • Lead financial reconciliation and performance reporting
  • Cook up with Technical Directors, Line Producers, and other leaders to ensure integrated execution
  • Set performance expectations, drive accountability, and mentor future leaders

Education & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in event production, expo management, or experiential programs
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
  • Background in agency, communications company or production company leadership
  • Proven success leading large-scale, complex production environments within enterprise or matrixed organizational settings, including experience working across multiple business units, agency partners, or integrated delivery models
  • Demonstrated experience integrating multiple internal teams
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, including demonstrated ability to assess scope and budget feasibility early in the production process, recognizing risk before commitments are made and guiding stakeholders toward viable solutions
  • Experience leveraging KPIs and performance metrics
  • Executive presence and strong decision-making capability
  • Ability to build trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders—clients, account leaders, creative teams, and production partners—bringing a unifying rather than directive leadership approach
  • Strong analytical approach
  • Exceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Ability to lead through complexity
