Where You'll Make an Impact

• Dealing the game and monitoring the monies of the table at all times.
• Maintaining gaming cards and equipment.
• Protecting company assets by monitoring guests’ movements at the table at all times.
• Analyzing customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Paying wins and taking losses.
• Safeguarding the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Clear speaking ability, listening, and following directions.
• Reading, writing, and understanding basic instructions in English.
• Using chips, cards, and a paddle.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Knowledge of specified games and gaming regulations.
• Ability to add monies and chips.
• Understanding of theft techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
• Able to accurately complete paperwork and forms.
• Complete knowledge of basic mathematical functions.
• Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property.
• Able to maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions and knowledge of all special events and promotional activities.

Must-Haves

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience as a casino dealer or certification from an accredited dealer school.
• Experience dealing at least two of the following games: Black Jack, Craps, or Roulette, and working knowledge of novelty games.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for 75% of the time.
• Walking for 10% of the time.
• Bending for 15% of the time (from waist).
• Making repetitive hand motions.
• Going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day and using elevators.
