Experienced Table Games Dealer

Essential Functions

• Performs the functions of a Table Games Dealer on an assigned shift
• Responsible for dealing an assigned game in accordance with established policy and procedures
• Creates an atmosphere for guests to make Hard Rock their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service
• Provides game security and protects Company assets by always facing games and being able to recreate bets/situations when necessary
• Responsible for handling all monies (bankrolls, payoffs, come and prop bets, making change and check handling) accurately in games
• Able to verbalize all aspects of the game including answering questions regarding other games and the property

Education And /Or Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Two years of Casino Dealer experience preferred

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to deal Blackjack with a high level of proficiency
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission
• Must successfully pass background check
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts

Knowledge

• Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations
• Hard Rock operations
• Policies and procedures
• Knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques

Skills

• Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
• Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed
