Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
- Provides accurate chip and cash transactions.
- Receives wagers from customers and pays the appropriate game outcomes.
- Maintains game security and protects company assets at all times.
- Assists customers in understanding the rules and ensures adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs.
Requirements
- Previous casino dealing experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Six months of experience in customer service field preferred.
- Successfully complete a basic math test and pass an Audition displaying adequate dealing skills.
- Quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
- Possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards, and money.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers and guests in fast-paced environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills; fluent and literate in English.
- Able to sit, stand, walk, and move easily around the pit area as well as the entire property for the entire shift.
- Able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
