Initial Placement

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities

• Provides accurate chip and cash transactions.
• Receives wagers from customers and pays the appropriate game outcomes.
• Maintains game security and protects company assets at all times.
• Assists customers in understanding the rules and ensures adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs.

Requirements

• Previous casino dealing experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Six months of experience in customer service field preferred.
• Successfully complete a basic math test and pass an Audition displaying adequate dealing skills.
• Quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
• Possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards, and money.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers and guests in fast-paced environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills; fluent and literate in English.
• Able to sit, stand, walk, and move easily around the pit area as well as the entire property for the entire shift.
• Able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
