About the role
Join our growing team at our newest, state-of-the-art Mazda facility. We're looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician with a valid Pennsylvania Inspection License.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and complete necessary repairs
- Examine vehicles to identify additional safety, maintenance, or service needs
- Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor promptly
- Work closely with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts
- Properly document all work performed
- Road test vehicles when required
- Perform Pennsylvania state safety and emissions inspections as licensed
- Assist with and oversee the work of apprentice technicians when assigned
- Attend factory-sponsored training and stay current on technical bulletins and repair procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Maintain dealership-owned tools and equipment responsibly
Requirements
- Previous professional automotive service technician experience required
- Valid Pennsylvania State Inspection License required
- Pennsylvania Emissions License preferred
- Strong diagnostic and general mechanical skills
- ASE certifications preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions and repair information
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Good judgment, reliability, and a strong work ethic

- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Knowledge of automotive repair and diagnostics
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
