Automotive Service Technician (Jack Giambalvo Kia Mitsubishi)

About the role

Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships is currently seeking an Experienced Automotive Service Technician to join their growing team at their newest Kia Mitsubishi location.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Receive and complete repair orders with attention to detail and within expected timeframes
• Communicate with service advisors and parts department to ensure smooth workflow
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs and report findings
• Document all work performed clearly and accurately
• Perform road tests as needed to verify repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
• Stay current with factory training, technical bulletins, and evolving automotive technology
• Mentor and assist apprentice technicians as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of automotive technician experience (import experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• PA State Inspection and Emissions License required
• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with diagnostic tools and shop equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset
