MAZDA Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Mazda is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join their team at Passport Automotive Group in Suitland, MD.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Mazda vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and costs.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to quality control standards.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and diagnostic techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using common automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.

Skills

• Diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
• Manual labor and physical fitness for vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Customer service and communication skills.

Pay

Wage/Salary Compensation Information: Automotive Technician 20 per flat rate hour up to 45 per flat rate hour potential.

Schedule

5 Day work schedule with NO Sundays and Flexible Schedules.
