EXPERIENCED MEDIUM, HEAVY-DUTY TRUCKS & EQUIPEMENT MOBILE SERVICE FIELD TECHNICIAN
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on medium and heavy-duty vehicles including heavy-duty equipment.
- Diagnose and repair issues in a timely and efficient manner. Perform preventative maintenance.
- Respond to service calls from customers in the designated service area.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site and implement effective solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on vehicles and equipment operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Generate service reports and documentation for each job.
- Communicate effectively with manager and other team members regarding work status and customer interactions.
- Interact professionally with customers to understand their concerns and address inquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring satisfaction with completed repairs and maintenance
- Stay current with industry trends, product updates, and technological advancements.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years professional automotive repair experience.
- Proven experience as a Mobile Service Technician or similar role.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to read/comprehend written instructions.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a high customer service mentality.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Willingness to travel within the designated service area.
- Valid driver license, clean driving record and ability to operate manual transmissions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- ASE certifications or technical school is a plus.
