Mobile Service Technician – Electric Trucks
About the role
Provide technical support to RIZON dealers, service technicians, and fleet customers via phone, email, and remote diagnostic tools. Assist with troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and vehicle system concerns. Support dealers and technicians with repair guidance, fault code interpretation, and service procedures. Review wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation to assist with diagnostics. Coordinate with Parts, Warranty, Service, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues. Document technical cases, resolutions, and recurring product concerns. Support dealer onboarding, technical training, and product familiarization activities. Assist with recall campaigns, service bulletins, and product improvement initiatives. Escalate unresolved issues to OEM engineering and technical support teams when required. Participate in RIZON technical training programs and continuously develop EV and commercial vehicle knowledge.
Responsibilities

- Support dealers and technicians with repair guidance, fault code interpretation, and service procedures.
- Review wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation to assist with diagnostics.
- Cook up with Parts, Warranty, Service, and Operations teams to resolve technical issues.
- Document technical cases, resolutions, and recurring product concerns.
- Support dealer onboarding, technical training, and product familiarization activities.
- Aid with recall campaigns, service bulletins, and product improvement initiatives.
- Escalate unresolved issues to OEM engineering and technical support teams when required.
- Participate in RIZON technical training programs and continuously develop EV and commercial vehicle knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school education in Automotive, Diesel, Electrical, or Commercial Vehicle Technology preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in vehicle repair, diagnostics, technical support, dealership service operations, or fleet maintenance.
- Experience working with medium-duty or heavy-duty trucks preferred.
- Basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple dealers and customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial vehicles, fleet maintenance, or dealership service operations.
- Experience supporting electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, or alternative fuel vehicles.
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic software and scan tools.
- Experience with warranty administration, service operations, or customer support.

Pay
Compensation: $39.00 - $42.00 / hr. (Depending on experience and qualifications)
