About the role

As an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician, you will strengthen customer relationships by properly maintaining and repairing vehicles while upholding our reputation for fast, friendly service. You will diagnose mechanical issues, explain options clearly, and perform agreed-upon repairs or regular maintenance to keep vehicles in top condition. Your legendary customer service will ensure customers feel valued and have a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve a range of mechanical issues in customer vehicles.
• Clearly explain repair options and perform agreed-upon repairs.
• Provide regular maintenance services to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
• Maintain a reputation for fast, friendly, and professional service.
• Ensure customers feel valued through exceptional service and integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Current AATI or ASE certifications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with brake work.
• Own your tools.
• Honest, reliable, and service-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and troubleshoot issues.
• Skill in explaining technical information in layman’s terms.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate (not flat rate) ranging from $18/hr. to $24/hr., depending on experience and certifications. Technician commissions range from $400 to $1,400 every two weeks, based on store-level Automotive Repair Net Sales. Combined hourly and commission earnings can exceed $100,000 annually. One-time bonuses of $500 are awarded for certifications earned while employed.
